An exhibition on problems that concern everyone.
Social divisions in contemporary society are rarely chosen as a thematic focus for artistic exploration. It is challenging to recognize when and how these divisions are built around a person's life path. Nonetheless, they influence our everyday lives and opportunities, lead to exclusion and reinforce traditional role divisions.
But what do class differences mean for us today?
The class Multidimensional Strategies dealt with the topic of classism over the course of three semesters - in the hope of better understanding and making visible the underlying mechanisms and their hidden structures. The exhibited works take their starting point in the very hidden contexts of which we ourselves are often a part.
