Students and employees at the Kunsthochschule Kassel have an opportunity to meet and network in the parent/child room. The facility is equipped with a play area, children’s seating, toys and children’s books.

Transponders for opening the door can be borrowed by members of the Kunsthochschule on a daily or longer basis from the Caretaker Services (Mon-Thu 9:30-11:30 am and 1:00-2:00 pm, Fri 9:30-11:30 am).

Flexible childcare
The University of Kassel offers care for the children of students and employees in the parent/child room and there is a pool of babysitters to provide flexible support. This means that childcare can be guaranteed during conferences or further training courses, for example. However, you must submit your request for care in good time in order to be sure of obtaining the necessary services.
