The student council as a representation of student interests

The student council of the Kunsthochschule Kassel represents the students in central committees such as the Kunsthochschulrat and the Fachschaftenkonferenz. It is committed to making student interests visible and actively participating in university policy decision-making processes. In addition to committee work, the student council organizes numerous events that strengthen social interaction at the university - including first-year parties, mulled wine evenings and other formats that promote exchange between students.

As the first point of contact, the student council supports students with questions, difficulties or concerns that cannot or should not be clarified directly with lecturers. It also offers project funding to provide financial support for student initiatives.

The student council cordially invites all students to its regular meetings, which always take place on Mondays at 18:00. The meeting point is room -1605 in the Nordbau, opposite the canteen. The meetings offer an opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss current topics and actively participate in shaping student life. Interested parties are always welcome to get involved and get to know the work of the student council.

If you have any questions, the student council can be contacted by email at fachschaft20[at]gmail.com. Further information can be found on the student council website: kunsthochschulekassel.de.
