It is the aim of the Kunsthochschule Kassel to make its website accessible in accordance with national legislation on implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and the Council on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies.

Creation of this accessibility statement
This statement was created on June 2, 2021. Our website was reviewed via BITV-Test independently by a third party at Academic Hero according to WCAG 2.0/2.1. The complete text that forms the basis for this statement can be viewed here. The statement was most recently reviewed on June 2, 2021.

Status of compatibility with requirements
This website is in part compatible with the Federal and Local Acts on Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities (BGG & LGG), the Accessible Information Technology Ordinance (BITV), and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0/2.1.

The Kunsthochschule Kassel disposes of a comprehensive web presence of at least several hundred websites. The vast majority of the pages were published before September 23, 2018. Due to the disproportionate burden imposed by the federal and local equal opportunity acts, however, the internet presence has not yet been entirely set up accessibly. The technological conversion will be carried our successively.
