Photographs by Peggy Buth on display at the V&A London

Peggy Buth, Professor of Intermedia Photography at the Kunsthochschule Kassel, is showing her series MLK Blvd (Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard) at the Victoria and Albert Museum South Kensington in London.

The MLK Blvd. series of 81 photographs was taken by Peggy Buth in St. Louis, Missouri, USA, and is part of her work cycle VOM NUTZEN DER ANGST. The exhibition is drawn from the V&A Museum's permanent collection and is entitled AMERICAN PHOTOGRAPHS, named after the 1938 book of the same name by Walker Evans.

The exhibition is divided into six parts: Republic, Land, Monument, Economies, Cities and Technology and is located in the Photography Center at the V&A. It is open to the public free of charge and can be seen in the permanent exhibition until May 2027.
