In the teaching program for Gymnasium (L3) you study the field of art as your first subject. The subject of art is studied as your main subject, with more credits than your second subject.
Duration of study: at least 9 semesters
Aesthetic practice is completed here in the subject classes of Visual Arts as well as Visual Communication along with students from the Visual Arts and in Art Education and the study workshops. The focus is on one’s own artistic projects, both in the foundation studies as well as in the artistic workshops.
Following from this, forms of representation and techniques will be developed that are relevant for teaching in school. The Art Education Program is particularly concerned with everyday aesthetics and the aesthetic practice of children and young people with regard to teaching art in the secondary levels I and II (upper levels).
