Interactive lecture: Identity and Exclusion Practices by Dr. Nkechi Madubuko as part of the exhibition „Treppen aus Sand“ (Class Multidimensional Strategies).
What diversity is in us? What role do dimensions such as age, origin, skin color, gender identity, first language, socio-economic circumstances, religious affiliation, cultural identity and sexual orientation play in my social positions and experiences? We follow this topic in our own lives, find information about the fundamental connections between the powerful formation of "norms", exclusionary practices that are established in education, work and self-perceptions. Exchange is welcome.
Dr. Nkechi Madubuko is a sociologist, author and proven expert in the critique of racism and empowerment against experiences of racism. As a diversity trainer, she is familiar with anti-discrimination and awareness-raising work.
