Social divisions in contemporary society are rarely chosen as a thematic focus for artistic exploration. It is challenging to recognize when and how these divisions are built around a person's life path. Nevertheless, they influence our everyday lives and opportunities, lead to exclusion and reinforce traditional role distributions, but what do class differences mean for us today? Over the course of three semesters, the Multidimensional Strategies class explored the topic of classism in the hope of better understanding and making visible the underlying mechanisms and their hidden structures. The exhibited works take as their starting point those hidden contexts of which we ourselves are often a part.
