On Thursday 3 February 2021 from 10.00h to 12.00h artist Erick Beltrán will give a zoom-lecture at Kunsthochschule Kassel.
Beltrán (Mexico city, 1974) will be part of documenta fifteen and is currently developing a project in Kassel together with the students of the Mehrdimensionale Strategien Klasse.
In the last years his work analyses and reflects on transversal knowledge constructions and figures, through diverse formats such as publications, installations, or diagrammatic displays.
The lecture is organised by artists Matthijs de Bruijne and Cecilia Vallejos, who together with the students of the Mehrdimensionale Strategien Klasse give shape to a series of talks by artists focusing on their particular way of working collaboratively in different contexts.
This session is open to art students and scholars of different departments of the Kunsthochschule Kassel and the University of Kassel.
