The SchUM cities of Speyer, Worms and Mainz are announcing the international artist residency program "SchUM-Artist in Residence". Until November 16, 2025, artists from around the world are invited to engage intensively with the historical and cultural aspects of the SchUM sites and create innovative works of contemporary art that reflect and reinterpret the rich heritage of these places.
The residency will take place from mid-April to mid-May 2026 and will last four to six weeks. Whether painting, photography or film, architecture or design, typography or goldsmithing, music, literature or theater - all forms of artistic expression are welcome in the SchUM cities of Speyer, Worms and Mainz.
