The cdw Foundation's sponsorship award (EXAMEN 2023) was presented to Pascalina Krummenauer (prize money: 4,000 euros) and Niels Walter (prize money: 4,000 euros).

"Vom Duft der roten Bete und den Menschen, die ewig leben" by Maren Wiese and Petra Stipetić wins the Golden Hercules at the 40th Kassel Documentary Film and Video Festival. Johanna Groß and Daniel Hellwig's "Von dem, was bleibt" also received an honorable mention at the awards ceremony.

Design Prize of the City of Munich for Prof. Ayzit Bostan. The prize (10,000 euros) is the highest municipal award in the field of applied arts.

Malin Kuht receives 15,000 EUR production funding from Hessen Film & Medien for her experimental film "Blue Light Waves Goodbye".

The documenta forum Kassel e. V. awards a sponsorship prize for exhibition development and realization in the exhibition area of the Kunsthochschule. The sponsorship award includes a prize money of 3,000 euros and will be shared. The project of the class Multidimensional Strategies (Prof. Cecilia Vallejos, Prof. Matthijs de Bruijne) receives 1,500 euros.
