The Kunsthochschule closes between the years

Once again this year, the Kunsthochschule and the University and their central facilities will be closed from Christmas to New Year.

In 2024, the Kunsthochschule and the University of Kassel will be closed from 23.12.2024 (Monday) up to and including 01.01.2025 (Wednesday). Courses will start on January 13, 2025. The security service will be on site during the closure period and will monitor the locations, while the IT Service Center will ensure digital security.

Libraries
All University Librarylocations will remain closed from December 23, 2024 to January 1, 2025. In the first two weeks of January, reduced opening hours will apply at the University of Art and Design Library, Oberzwehren and Witzenhausen.
Kunsthochschule Library: Opening hours from January 2 to 10, 2025, Monday to Friday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Studierendenwerk Kassel
Dining halls and cafeterias will open for the last time this year on Thursday, December 19; the service and advice centers will remain open until December 20. All Studierendenwerk facilities will start the new year on January 6, 2025.
