The exhibition You are not your thoughts, are you? explores the efficacy of the discourse of mindfulness in capitalist societies in the Global North. The spatial installation exploreswhat injunctions and norms are integrated into aesthetics around mindfulness and happiness/being happy - what they do to us, who they are for, who they include and exclude, and what they aim at.
