To mark the 100th birthday of the Swiss sociologist Lucius Burckhardt, who taught at the University of Kassel's Department of Architecture, Urban and Landscape Planning from 1973 to 1997, a Lucius Burckhardt Convention will be held for the fourth time at the Kunsthochschule Kassel, organized by Prof. Martin Schmitz and students from the Product Design department.
On Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 9:30 a.m., lectures and discussions about Lucius and Annemarie Burckhardt, the inventors of the science of walking, will take place in the lecture hall. The program ends in the evening with a birthday party. Admission is free!
