The exhibition FAST NICHTS - DIMENSIONS VON ABWESENHEITshows forms of absence that manifest themselves as emptiness or absence, yet can also carry inklings of closeness. As the closing point of this year's series "Proximity and Distance," the exhibition takes up artistic positions that reveal spatial voids as well as address the absence of physical presence as well as dissolution.
All positions deal in different ways with the bodily being-in-the-world, investigate what proximity can mean for the individual and the community. They show that absence evokes more than just a void, that it can have great meaning and evoke something new.
