© Lucas MelzerSandra Spoo has been working as an artistic associate at the Kunsthochschule Kassel since October 2020.
Already during her studies, a focus on ecology and textile design had been crystallizing. In November 2019 she finished her thesis work at the Kunsthochschule Kassel, following which she worked in creative teaching with children and realized projects in interior design.
In her thesis work she formed a bridge to her many years of working in the area of tourism before her studies. Under the title “Same, same – but different” she worked on the topic of travel and pattern design. In this context she created fabric patterns and, together with the company Steuler Fliesen GmbH, she developed a variety of ceramic tiles.
