Over the past months, aneducation team for documenta 14 has co-produced a number of meals with neighbours and guest artists. The point being that coming to a table together is often very different than coming to an exhibition space. Talk, tone, taste, timing are all part of a learning process and lead us to the question, how can knowledge be nourishing? During this time together we’ll not only reflect with our heads but also our hands on the gestures involved in sharing information and feelings, the forms which co-authorship can take, as well as the politics of what it is to host others and hold others within those forms.
