The MONOM Art Prize is aimed at students at a state art academy in Germany at the end of their studies. The prize serves to support art students in the transition to independent artistic practice.
With the MONOM Art Prize, the MONOM Foundation honors individuals who critically engage with society in their artistic work. The jury selects up to three prizewinners from all submissions, with prize money totaling 9,000 euros.
In addition, all prize winners can take part in further training to develop their professional careers with Birgit Effinger.
