Bulling’s first fictional comic book abfackeln/Firebugs (Edition Moderne/Colorama, 2022) was originally published in 2022 as part of Bulling’s contribution to documenta 15 in Kassel, which also included an exhibition and an extensive public program around trans and queer strategies in graphic publishing. Firebugs has been translated into numerous languages. Bulling lives and works in Berlin.
