SCHOLARSHIP WILLINGSHAUSEN
The Willingshausen scholarship offers space and time for concentrated work in a rural setting, the opportunity to exhibit in a professional exhibition space and the production of a publication.
What do we offer?
- 3 months stay in Willingshausen (February - May or September-November 2025)
- Studio space in the Gerhardt-von-Reutern House*
- Accommodation in the Hirtenhaus*
- Exhibition in the Kunsthalle Willingshausen
- Scholarship € 3.100,-
- Catalog grant € 5.000,-
Who do we support?
- Young artists who are currently completing their studies in Hesse or who graduated from a Hessian art academy no more than 3 years ago.
- Young artists who currently live in Hesse and whose artistic university degree was awarded no more than 3 years ago.
What do we need?
- Completed application form
- Portfolio (digital max. 20 pages max. 5 MB)
- Curriculum vitae with artistic career
- Concept (max. 1 DIN A4 page) that deals with the special situation in Willingshausen. Examples at www.stipendium-willingshausen.de/Ausstellungen
- Copy of degree certificate from a Hessian art college or copy of identity card with registration address in Hesse (front and back)
or copy of a current, official registration certificate of primary residence in Hesse (deadline for primary residence in Hesse: before 01.01.2024)
