Enrolled students at the University of Kassel who wish to continue their studies in the coming semester must re-register. Re-registration must take place within a specified re-registration period. Receipt of the semester fee by the University of Kassel is deemed to constitute a declaration of re-registration.

Re-enrolment is carried out automatically upon payment of the semester fee. Late re-enrolment is also possible within a grace period; however, a late payment fee of €30.00 will be charged for this.

Once payment has been received, student documents will be sent out within ten days. Re-registration is considered complete once these documents have been dispatched.
 

Semester Fee

The semester fee must be paid upon enrolment and then when re-registering for the following semester. It is made up of contributions for various institutions (see here). In the event of late re-registration, the late fee is € 30.00.
