Following its successful opening on 25 February 2026, the exhibition “STAY” will remain on display at the Pinakothek der Moderne (X-D-E-P-O-T) in Munich until 29 March 2026.
On display are works by design students from the Kassel Art Academy. The exhibition was curated by Ayzit Bostan, Polina Gedova and Angelika Nollert. The focus is on sitting as a cultural practice and on the textile seat as an independent design element. The works explore the relationship between body, material and space and invite visitors to rethink sitting.
The exhibition also offers the students an ideal opportunity to present their project designs in a renowned exhibition venue. The project was led by Prof. Ayzit Bostan, who has headed the Textile Product Design specialisation at the Kunsthochschule Kassel since 2012.
Students:
Helena Bals, Zoë Debik, Matilda Elisabeth Grams, Tim Felix Kostka, Tatjana Kovbasa, Felix Leiffer, Indira Marukić, Carolina Moisei, Silas Vogler, Linjun Zeng.
