Lecture Series, Winter Semester 2026/27
Research Station on Lutherplatz
The TRACESlecture series is intended as an open forum for exchange between the university, the art academy and the general public. The invited speakers were selected in close consultation with lecturers from the university and the Kassel Art Academy, and each talk is linked to specific courses.
National and international guests from the fields of fine art, design, exhibition practice, theatre, art history and curatorial theory will provide insights into their working methods, research questions and perspectives on exhibition practice. This creates a transdisciplinary programme that brings together different approaches and positions and stimulates discussion on exhibition practice in its many and varied forms.
All lectures take place on Tuesdays at 6.00 pm at the TRACES Research Station on Lutherplatz. Admission is free. All interested parties are warmly welcome.
