The next Kassel Museum Night will take place on 5 September 2026.
Around 50 museums, galleries and cultural institutions covering the fields of art and history, natural sciences and technology, as well as literature and music, will open their doors. The diverse programme will be complemented by music and culinary delights, atmospheric lighting and a varied programme of events.
As part of Museum Night, the exhibition Digital Unfolds the Myriad Forms – China-Europe Intermedia Art Touring Exhibition will also be on view in the exhibition hall of the Kunsthochschule Kassel.

Since 1999, the first Saturday in September has been one of the highlights of Kassel’s cultural calendar, as on this evening the Kassel Museum Night invites visitors to enjoy an evening of art. The event is organised by the City of Kassel’s Department of Culture, Hessen Kassel Heritage, documenta and Museum Fridericianum gGmbH, and the Museum of Sepulchral Culture.
