Freelance visual artists can apply for a KUNSTFONDS_grant from 1 November 2026.

The KUNSTFONDS_grant provides visual artists with the freedom to focus on their artistic practice and develop new ideas. It is intended as a long-term investment in their continued freelance work within the art scene and is awarded regardless of age and, within Germany, regardless of location.

Application deadline: 15 January 2027 (midnight).
