The BRAVA Awards are an international competition for the visual arts, organised by the Fondazione BRAVA. The first edition is dedicated to painting and is open to emerging artists aged between 19 and 30. The aim is to promote young artistic voices and provide them with international visibility. Four acquisition prizes will be awarded: two prizes of US$5,000 each, each comprising an eight-week international artist residency including travel expenses, accommodation, a studio and materials, as well as two further prizes of US$3,000 and US$2,000.

The winning works will become part of the foundation’s collection. Finalists will have the opportunity to exhibit their work in Punta del Este, Uruguay, in January 2027 and to be part of an international touring exhibition.

Application deadline: 27 October 2026
