HESSEN TALENTS 2026 at the 76th Berlinale
From February 14 to 21, 2026, HESSEN TALENTS will promote the exchange and networking of young filmmakers during the Berlin International Film Festival.
The short film program 2026 presents twelve Hessian graduation and semester films and shows the diversity of the four filmmaking universities of the hFMA network in Darmstadt, Kassel, Offenbach and Wiesbaden. The program was selected by an expert audience and professors from the participating universities.
The HESSEN TALENTS 2026 films will be shown at the European Film Market (EFM) and the fsk Kino Berlin, among others. The film screenings will be accompanied by the HESSEN TALENTS Open Classes: International workshops, industry excursions and daily exchange sessions provide participants with intensive insights into the film industry.

HESSEN TALENTS is a project of the Hessian Film and Media Academy (hFMA), which networks 13 Hessian universities in order to strengthen teaching, research and student film production and promote direct exchange with the media industry. The project manager of HESSEN TALENTS 2026 is Borjana Gaković.
