TRACES - Transdisciplinary Center for Exhibition Studies

Lecture series winter semester 2025/26Research station on Lutherplatz

On the last warm days of the winter semester 2025/26, the Transdisciplinary Center for Exhibition Studies - TRACES - once again invites you to a series of public lectures. On five evenings, national and international guests from the fields of visual arts, design, exhibition practice, theater, art history and curatorial theory will provide insights into their working methods, research questions and creative perspectives.

The lecture series sees itself as an open forum for exchange between the university, art academy and the public. With this in mind, the invited speakers were selected in close consultation with lecturers from the university and the art academy, who will link the topics of the lectures to their courses in the winter semester. The contributions thus not only provide insights into contemporary artistic and creative positions, but also into current transdisciplinary dialogues in the courses on exhibiting, remembering, researching, curating and designing.

All lectures take place on Tuesdays at 18:00 in the TRACES research station on Lutherplatz. Admission is free, all interested parties are welcome.
