In her graduation project, Seray Dalmis takes us into a world where the boundaries between reality and fantasy are blurred in light, shine and sound. Inspired by the expansive and visually powerful works of Chiharu Shiota and Yayoi Kusama, the artist invites us to dive deep into her cosmos of immersive art. Where do we draw the line between the outside and the inside? Where does the work end and where does the artist's biography begin? These questions are poetically explored in her work, which functions as an interface between visual experience and personal coping strategy.
MUCH TOO MUCH shows us how close dream and trauma are to each other and how painful loss can be transformed into fulfilling beauty. Experience a world in which exuberant abundance becomes an invitation to question one's own perception and redefine the limits of what is possible.
