Chiara Fehling presents an exhibition and performance with and by the Japanese art of bondage Shibari from a queerfeminist perspective. "Bound Body" stands for bound, connected, shackled and limited bodies, which can be both material and human. The female body experiences many constraints, evaluations and lack of freedom in both private and public spaces. The rope gives us the opportunity to feel the body, to release the traumas stored in it and thus to set our own rules. The exhibition is an attempt to break down the stigma surrounding topics such as kink and sexuality. Photographs, moving images and an installation will be shown.
