Víctor del Oral (b. 1987, Mexico City) is a visual and textual artist living between Mexico City, Weimar and Berlin. His work moves between sculpture, words, installation and the body. For the past ten years, he has developed his »Lectoesculturas«: walk-in reading sculptures, living texts that fuse body, space and writing to explore the limits of language and communication. He holds an MFA in Public Art and New Artistic Strategies from the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, and has received the CIFO Emerging Artist Award, a DAAD fellowship and the 2026 Biennial x Salón ACME Residency Award.
