Monday the 12th of December will be the first date for PLUS extracurricular talks at Papiercafe! Under PLUS extracurricular talks we ar organizing a colloquium held each on three dates during the winter semester 2016/17 at the University of Kassel. Central in this event are the motivations, visions, and drives of young art theorists, artists and designers, to give a theoretical and scientific view on the production of culture industry. At the same time we would like to invite our guests to give a possible view on life after graduation.
On Monday we welcome Britta Thie at 4 p.m. In her works she deals with different exhibition platforms, she questions virtual and analogue identities as well as availability.
At 6 p.m. Henrike Naumann, working conceptually analyzing aesthetic codes used in various contexts, will present her work.
After each talk we will have time for questions, there will be drinks and snacks. Looking forward to see you there!
