Climate justice has to do with each and every one of us. We all know that we must not treat our planet carelessly. But how can we live social and ecological responsibility? Protect the environment and use resources sustainably? Together, we can make a difference in order to provide sustainable living conditions for the inhabitants of the Global South as well as for the generations to come? The Lagois photo competition is endowed with 5,000 euros. We are looking for photo reports about people or groups who live climate justice. Small and big heroines who fearlessly stand up for environmental protection and against global warming, who take responsibility and promote socio-political change. The photo prize is awarded in two categories and is aimed at professional photographers as well as youths and young adults between the ages of 14 and 27. The best photos will be presented in a traveling exhibition throughout Germany, and an illustrated book on the subject will also be published. The deadline for entries is spring 2023.
