Study Commission

The Study Commission decides how the resources for improving the quality of study conditions and teaching assigned by the University Board are allocated within the Kunsthochschule.

The resources serve solely to improve teaching quality and study conditions. Particular attention must be paid to creating the conditions for students to achieve success in their studies within a reasonable period by ensuring that the teaching programme for which provision is made in the Examination and Academic Regulations can be carried out to a sufficient extent without time delays. The counselling and supervision facilities for the students must be improved in this respect.

Six members are appointed by the student representatives in the Kunsthochschule Council (KHR). A further six members, of which three are professors, two research associates and one a technical employee, are appointed by the Rector in consultation with the KHR. The students' term of office is one year, that of the other members of the allocation committee two years.
