For the ninth time, the City of Duisburg, in collaboration with the Duisburg Artists’ Association, is awarding the coveted residency grant. Cultural practitioners under the age of 40 from across Germany are invited to apply by 31 August for a studio provided free of charge in the Rheinhausen district. 

In addition, the scholarship holder can look forward to further benefits during the one-year residency, which are provided at the organiser’s discretion: alongside accommodation and a Deutschlandticket from Duisburg’s transport company, there will be a solo exhibition and a publication showcasing the works created during the stay in Duisburg.
